Racha-Lechkhumi

In Racha-Lechkhumi, you feel as though you have found yourself somewhere between heaven and earth. The land here seems to belong neither entirely to earth nor entirely to sky. It exists on the boundary.

And it is there, between valleys and mountains, on the edge between sunlight and shadow, that the local vines are born. Vines that resemble nothing but themselves.

That is why Khvanchkara cannot be Khvanchkara anywhere else. Tvvishi cannot be Tvvishi anywhere else.

And Usakhelouri? What can one really say about Usakhelouri? Perhaps that invisible boundary — sensed more by instinct than by sight — is preserved here too. The point beyond which even a name becomes unnecessary.
